Several steps must be followed to ensure your hardwood floor installation is properly executed. First, verify that the subfloor is made of wood (not cement or concrete) and that it is securely fastened and level. Additionally, the subfloor must be clean and free of small debris (we vacuum it thoroughly). Next, a non-tarred felt paper is laid over the entire surface of the subfloor.
During the installation of the hardwood planks, we first ensure they are in perfect condition and leave a small gap near the walls so the planks can expand and contract due to humidity or temperature changes. After installation, we attach pre-painted moldings.
