If your engineered or hardwood floor requires sanding and professional varnishing, our team can assist you. We perform complete sanding and surface smoothing, followed by the application of your choice of water-based varnish (available in matte, satin, semi-gloss, or gloss finishes) or oil-based varnish with a high-gloss finish.
If you wish to change the color of your floor, we can apply a semi-transparent water-based stain. You'll have a multitude of customizable color options to enhance the appearance of your floor and transform your decor. The stain should dry for 24 to 48 hours before applying the protective water-based varnish.

SANDING, STAINING, AND VARNISHING TECHNIQUES
We sand the hardwood floor twice across the entire surface to ensure smoothness. The first sanding removes the existing varnish using medium-grit sandpaper, and the second sanding smooths the surface with fine-grit sandpaper.
When sanding softwood floors, the process takes longer, and the cost is higher. The same applies to floors covered with glue or paint, which are more challenging to sand. In such cases, coarse-grit sandpaper is required, and the sanding process is more time-consuming.
If the floor needs staining, we perform three sanding passes with 40-80-100 grit sandpaper and use a specialized sander along the wall edges.
After sanding the hardwood or engineered floor, we apply a varnish or a semi-transparent stain followed by a varnish. If staining is required, we use Vermeister water-based varnish (available in matte, satin, semi-gloss, or gloss finishes). If staining is not required, we can apply either Vermeister water-based varnish or, optionally, MC Crystal oil-based varnish with a high-gloss finish.
